What computer to buy?
For 28 years I worked with Microsoft based computers. I have been an application programmer on various Microsoft systems. In 2007 I switch to Macintosh computers mostly because of Windows Vista. They cost a lot more money and they are worth every penny you spend. It used to be that the software was more expensive and scarce but that is no longer the case since Apple Computers switched to Intel processors. You can also run all your Microsoft programs by using a program called Parallels. This run 100% of the programs at the same speed as running on non-Apple computer hardware. With Windows Vista you should have at least 6.5GB of memory to run the system properly. With my MacBook I have 2GB and it runs the Mac programs and XP in Parallels just fine at the same time. There are no virus or Trojan issues on the Mac computers. http://www.apple.com
