Kingdom Gospel
We are in a revival stream to share the Kingdom of God as Jesus commanded us to do. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His command to preach the Kingdom of God as a present kingdom has never changed nor can it be changed. There are some fringe religious movements that have promoted the Kingdom of God in exclusion and error but this does not change the command of our Lord Jesus to preach the Kingdom.
Jesus said to seek first the Kingdom:
Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
John the Baptist was the forerunner of the Kingdom of God:
Matthew 3:2 “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Jesus preached the Kingdom of God:
Matthew 4:23 Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people.
Jesus came to the earth to preach the Kingdom:
Luke 4:43 But He said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose.”
Jesus told us to preach the Kingdom of God:
Luke 10:1-9 Now after this the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them in pairs ahead of Him to every city and place where He Himself was going to come. And He was saying to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. “Go; behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. “Carry no money belt, no bag, no shoes; and greet no one on the way. “Whatever house you enter, first say, `Peace be to this house.’ “If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you. “Stay in that house, eating and drinking what they give you; for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not keep moving from house to house.”Whatever city you enter and they receive you, eat what is set before you; and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, `The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
Jesus did not say his Kingdom was of this world:
John 18:36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.”
Some say that Kingdom teaching means to take over every area of this worlds system for Jesus. Jesus has not yet come to establish his Kingdom in this world but he has told us to bring the blessings of heaven’s Kingdom to earth. When others teach the Kingdom out of misunderstanding or error that does not change the command of Jesus the Christ to preach the Kingdom to end of the world until the end of the ages.
Jesus healed the sick as part of the Kingdom message:
Matthew 9:35. Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.
Jesus will not return until the Kingdom of God is preached:
Matthew 24:14 “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Jesus brings the New Covenant:
Luke 16:16 “The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John; since that time the gospel of the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.
Satan fights the Kingdom message:
Matthew 13:19 19. “When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road.
We are to bring heaven to earth:
Matthew 16:19 “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.”
Healing is part of the Kingdom message:
Luke 9:1-2 And He called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all the demons and to heal diseases. And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing.
Jesus the Christ went about doing good and healing all oppressed of the devil (see Act 10:38). He also said that as he is so are we in this world (see 1 John 4:17). We are to bring love and honor to this world. We are to show the kindness of Jesus to all those in our sphere of influence.
Jesus told us to go and do what He did. That would be to bring the full gospel of Jesus to the world by preaching salvation, healing, deliverance. Religion teaches people what to think. Jesus teaches people how to think. If you teach a poor man how to think then he will figure out how to fish.
