Day 4 - Miracle healings on top of the Aztec Pyramids
Our free day for seeing the Aztec Pyramids turned into a God day of miracle healings on the top of the Sun Aztec Pyramid.
We did the normal tour and then we climbed to the top of the largest pyramid. We started by worship and asked God to forgive the land for the sin of human sacrifice. We spoke a prophetic word of Wakey Wakey. I will not explain that more as most would not understand but it has to do with opening up heavens blessings to the land. I noticed an older man with a walking stick. I asked him if he had pain in his body. He said yes in his legs. Kris came over as I was talking and he began to pray after I shared with him about the man. I started interpreting into Spanish for Kris. The man was totally healed of pain. He explained that due to the pain it took him two hours to climb the pyramid. This took us about 5-10 minutes. We saw him leaving with his cane in the air. He had been raising his legs high and rejoicing with a great smile on his face. After praying for the man I noticed that Sarah was ministering to a lady. I went over to interpret for her. The lady had pain in her body and lumps that she could physically feel on the top part of her breast. Sarah ministered to her in great love. Sarah asked her if she could check the lumps. The precious lady did and her face lite up proclaiming the lumps were gone. She continue to check around the area to make sure. Jesus reigns!
We went to lunch afterwords. A group of about 20 Mexicans came in to eat. Chet noticed that one had a neck brace on. He boldly went over and asked if he could pray for him. The Lord healed him and he took off the brace. Before, he could not move his neck because of the pain. Then at the table of about 20 there were 11 that gave their life to Jesus.
Next we asked if we could get a photo of them. We ended up outside for a group photo. The Lord was not done. There were two more that received a manifestation of healing.
Now this was a great day off! Thank you Lord Jesus for loving on your people and allowing us to partner with you to bring salvation and healing to the world!
Miracles in Mexico City Day 3
This was a day of glorious evangelism. You might call it power evangelism. Jesus told us in John 14:12 that we would do the same works he did and greater works. I heard someone say that salvation is the greater work Jesus spoke of. Yes, that is true but he also said that “these works” we will do. It is true and I can give testimony that Jesus spoke truly when he spoke these words. He is faithful and awesome.
We had 6 teams go out. Each team returned giving testimony of great healing and salvation. Our team saw 3 people receive Jesus and 4 people healed.
Miracles in Mexico City - Day 2
On Sunday we had 3 services at Bread of Life in Mexico City
I feel so blessed to be back in the Latin culture. The worship was awesome. After worship the team broke into 4 groups to minister to the children and in the adult service. Our leader, David, began by greeting and letting people know about our school and ministry. Then he began with words of knowledge. This is when everything started to get crazy for God. Miracles began to breakout all over the place. Our team began to pray for all types of problems as they walked through the crowd. I personally prayed for 3 people that received manifestations of healing. At the end David had them stand if they had a manifestation of a healing. I quickly scanned the crowd and counted about 130 miracles. Several came up and testified.
One baby that did not have a heal in a foot received a new one instantly. The mother was weeping with joy. Another gave testimony of a lump that no longer was there, there were many more sharing what Jesus had done. There were also about 10-12 people receive Jesus. The others in the children ministry reported similar works. I was on the mission field for 15 years and in the total of the 15 years I did not see these types of miracles although I did see thousands of people come to Jesus. Now one might think that is success but if I am only giving 1/3 of a Gospel then I am cheating the world and cheating Jesus Christ of the reward of His sufferings. It is so easy to live this way. You get so full of the Holy Spirit that His works just begin to pour out. As we walk in His presence then Jesus touches the world just the way He always has done.
Service 2
David shared and then several team members gave corporate and individual prophetic words. I gave a word to a lady that encouraged her in her destiny and the work that God is doing in her. I talked to her later and she told me that it blessed her. Next we gave words of Knowledge to activate healing in people. There were many miracles and healings that follow. Between the two service there were about 20 people that made first time decisions for Jesus.
Night service
The team divided up to groups to minister to the adults, youth, and leadership. I am the official team photographer so I am not assigned to any group. I am able to float between them. It was amazing to see God moving by words of Knowledge among the youth.
There were several works of miracles happening. In the adult service we had more of the same. I personally saw healing breakthrough in several people in salvation, healing, miracles, and joy. It was awesome to see God moving and touching the Mexican people!
Contending for your own healing
God has given us gifts of healing to share with others but sometimes we see people healed by our prayer in the very area the we are in need of healing. After 15 years on the field and especially the last 5 years I became worn out and it manifested in my body with joint swelling, muscle aches, and numbness. I have gone to the healing rooms at Bethel Church and have had prayer many times. It has taken about 6 months for the recover process. Last fall I would be tired just going up the stairs. When I wake up in the mornings I would have numb arms and my hands were swollen. I tried a better bed and a healthy diet but nothing seem to help. For the last two months I have had an earache off and on. Nothing seems to help it and I have not had the money to see a doctor about it. I just continue to pray and have had prayer many times. I was just in a service where over 20 people received a miracle in their ears. I also prayed for a lady that had an immediate change in her swollen hands and sore knees.
There is a difference between how the Lord will minister to us. Sometimes he uses our own body healing abilities, other times he will use diet and exercise to help our body, other times he will us a doctor with medicine, sometimes he requires us to walk in faith and prayer through a process of trusting him and sometimes he uses a gift of healing or miracle. No matter what he uses we continue to glorify him in the process no matter if the healing is immediate, it is a recover process, or if we go into eternity trusting him as some did in the hall of faith of Hebrews 11.
In these days God is breaking through hundreds of years of bad doctrine on healing. He is showing himself as the same Jesus whom is Savior, Healer, Provider, Deliverer. God is teaching us to walk by faith for our own healing and to bring gifts of healing and miracles to others. All of this is to glorify Jesus. If we are to continue to walk in victory then we can not take the glory due to Jesus.
One mistake that ministers of healing have made in the past is to not teach people how to maintain their healing. A good analogy would be a person goes to the doctor and gets relief from high blood pressure by taking medication. The person never makes a change in their diet and exercise or only does for a while. They return to the doctor with the same or worst problem. The doctor may have told them what they should do to keep their pressure down but did not do what it takes to help them make a life style change. This is true also in healing. We must continue to walk by faith and prayer under the Presence of God. Jesus said to the man healed at the pool of Bethesda, “… go and sin no more lest a worst thing come upon you” (John 5:14). Jesus is not saying that if you are sick it means you are sinning nor is he saying that if you are sick this means you are in sin. He is just showing a Kingdom principle that sickness can come back when Jesus heals you and that we should continue to live our life for Him to walk in victory.
It seems that those that have learned to walk in the power of Jesus Christ are also required to walk in faith and christian character for our own healing. Sometimes we do get a miracle like those that we pray for. It is more often that we are to walk in faith and prayer as we continue to contend for our healing. It is very important that we include all of our fellow believers in our struggle as we pray and believe together to see God glorified. As we are contending we continue to give to others from our gift because their testimony of healing becomes part of our testimony as we believe God for a breakthrough. In weakness He becomes strong through us.
What I have shared has been an area of stumbling for many Christians. Why stumble over this? Why not believe the Word is true regardless of our own struggle. Why not believe that in our own weakness God is showing His strength to others? Then when we get a breakthrough it becomes even a stronger testimony as we pray for others. Jesus is awesome! He heals today just like He always has!
What to think or how to think?
So far classes at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry have been amazing. I have recently realized how this school is different than any other Bible training or ministry training school. Most schools teach the students what to think, but this school teaches us how to think. The supernatural lifestyle is a lifestyle of walking in the presence of God. Our goal is to honor others which would exclude being judgmental. When we walk in the presence of Jesus we do not have permission to take His place as judge or jury. When others have a different belief than we do, then we honor them because the Holy Spirit has people walking in different ways for His purpose. We are not Old Testament prophets so people don’t get to stone us when we are wrong. We, as prophetic people, do not get to call out sins or judgment on the world. God may warn of a coming disaster or situation but the judgement part of that was already been put on the cross. New Testament Prophesy is for upbuilding, encouragement, and consolation. (1 Cor. 14:3)
I don’t want to be like a Pharisee that has lots of knowledge but no daily encounter with Christ, nor do I want to be like the early church that had lots of daily encounters but no written Word of God to authenticate those encounters. The truth is that the letter kills but the Spirit gives life, so it is my desire is to walk in the truth of God’s Word while I experience daily encounters with the Holy Spirit. The goal of BSSM is to bring us to a place where we love God’s Word and have a daily experiential walk with the Holy Spirit. Every place you go there are men that tell us what to think about God. Just like the car company, Ford, There is a better idea. Why not ask the author of the Bible what He thinks it means?
How would your Spiritual life look if you could erase your mind from everything that man has taught you and sit down with the Holy Spirit and have Him teach you His Word? When you read 1 Corinthians 12-14 would you decide that Spiritual gifts have passed away? While reading Acts would you decide that miracles are no longer for today? Would you believe that Angels are operating around us? Would you know how much God the Father loves you? When you read 2 Corinthians chapters 8 and chapters 9 would you still believe that God does not want to bless His people? When you read Romans 6 and 8 would you still think that Romans 7 is teaching that the Apostle Paul was living in moral failure? Would walking in the Presence of God become your driving heart desire? Would you believe God for the gift of speaking in unknown tongues? Would the joy in your heart bring you to a place of laughter, even at church? Would you dance before Him in joyful praise as you experience His goodness? Would you care that you looked a bit goofy when the Holy Spirit touches you with some odd physical manifestation? Would you be Catholic or Protestant, or would you just be a follower of Jesus? Why not read the Bible again for the first time?
What I have experienced by taking this year at BSSM is to walk in the Presence of God. It is not about how much I know but it is about Whom I know. I do not need to impress anyone, nor do I need an identity outside of Jesus Christ. I now can hear God when the Holy Spirit speaks to me. Maybe not as plain as I would like, and I am not always sure if He is talking, but His voice has now become much more clear and I understand that He is talking to me often. I think I may have made it past the infant stage of Christian growth. I know that there is much more to experience in the Holy Spirit.
Saundi and I have dedicate the rest of our life to leading others to encounter God in a daily personal experience. I do not want to teach someone what they should believe. I want everyone to believe what the Holy Spirit teaches them. It does not matter if you are a store clerk or a doctor we all have the same need. We all need to walk with the real God as He shows himself through the Father’s heart of love, the Son life, and Holy Spirit’s power.
Call to the prophetic
Kenton took Five Fold quiz and the result is PROPHETIC
You are someone who stirs people up to dream bigger dreams. You encourage and inspire but you shake things up in the house of God. You are ready to change the course and even as you call for the battle you do so in a creative way. You are full of vision, and your sights are set on the throne room. From that perspective you clearly see the way forward and challenge others to follow it. You love to anoint others and regularly lead them in travail. You will challenge others till they see God’s will, something that seems to come more naturally to you. People will be drawn to you because you challenge them and you point them to the throne of God and the feet of Jesus. To you, if people only got the intimacy thing right, the Church would be fine!
2 doses of kindness and 1 of love
Alone No More by Rhoda Starks
Alone No More
by: Rhoda Starks
Sometimes it feels like we’re all alone.
No one to stand beside us in the pain.
The world turns against us . . .
Life has left us standing in the rain
with no umbrella to shelter us
on stormy days.
People will never give us
what only He gives.
People will let us down.
It’s in Him, that we live.
Only He can fulfill us.
Everyone else falls short when they give.
He’s there
when everyone else leaves.
He provides the umbrella
till the rains cease.
He promised never to leave us.
Alone no more, we will be.
